Mint Associates Ltd Co provides bookkeeping, tax preparation, tax compliance, and financial advisory support to businesses and individuals. Our work is built around a simple idea: business owners should have financial records they can understand and rely on.
Our history
Experience from both sides of tax compliance.
Mint Associates was founded by Alexander Kena Jr., who worked as a Tax Enforcement Officer for the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts before entering practice. Our work is shaped by having seen how filings are examined from the agency's side of the desk.
That background provides perspective beyond ordinary data entry. We understand why accurate records matter, how tax filings connect to the underlying books, how discrepancies develop, and how poor recordkeeping can eventually create penalties, notices, interest, and unnecessary stress.
Mint Associates was developed to bring that experience directly to businesses and individuals in a practical, accessible way. Our goal is to help clients stay organized before a problem develops — and provide knowledgeable assistance when one already has.

Mint Associates provides bookkeeping, tax preparation, tax compliance, and advisory services. Team members are described by their education, experience, and credentials as held. Services requiring independent CPA assurance or other professional licensure are provided only when separately authorized and appropriately licensed.

Mint Associates is not a CPA firm and does not perform audits, reviews, or other assurance engagements. Where a matter requires a licensed CPA, an attorney, or another licensed professional, that work is performed by that professional under their own licence and engagement — and we will tell you when we are recommending it and why.
